High-crystallinity flake graphite for the energy transition.

Cinteli is driving the study and development of the Cerro Osumita graphite deposit: a metamorphic body with in-situ grades of 7-10%, beneficiable to 92%+, with GD 60 crystallinity and critical applications in lithium batteries, electrodes, refractories and graphene.

Investment thesis

Why graphite and why now?

High-crystallinity flake graphite is a critical mineral for global electrification. Anode demand for lithium-ion batteries will grow 4x by 2030.

Demand

Energy transition

Electric vehicles and stationary storage systems require 50–100 kg of graphite per unit. Today's supply is insufficient.

Quality

Crystalline flake

Natural flake graphite (vs. synthetic or amorphous) commands a higher market value and unlocks superior tech applications.

Geography

Strategic nearshoring

American deposits gain relevance given the concentration of global supply in China (≈70%) and the pressure for diversified value chains.

Flagship project

Cerro Osumita: a world-class asset.

Located in Cojedes State, Venezuela, Cerro Osumita is a metamorphic graphite deposit extensively characterized through petrological, mineralogical and beneficiation studies. In-situ concentrations of 7–10% and its crystallinity position it among the most promising deposits in the region.

Cinteli leads the technical, environmental and commercial structuring of the project with an ESG focus, geospatial traceability and a mining digital twin.
